New Mare - Gartconnel Curious

Our new mare who we purchased at the Fayre Oaks sale arrived today. She is Gartconnel Curious and is by Betws Llew and out of Gartconnel Cameo by Coed Coch Penadur.

She has been scanned in foal to the superb stallion Gartconnel Shooting Star and we are very excited to see what she produces for us.

Big Thank You to Anita Parkinson from the Tanfanaris Stud for giving Curious a lift up to Lancashire.

Royal Manx Agricultural Show

Colne Nerina receiving the Celia Hedges Trophy for the Best Light Horse from the Isle of Man Governor.

She was 1st Brood Mare, 1st Small Breeds M&M In Hand, In Hand M&M Champion, M&M Champion, Pony Champion & Finally Best Light Horse in Show.

Nantdywyll Fflint was 2nd place in Small Breeds M&M (beaten by our own Colne Nerina so can't complain!) Thank you to George Osborn for showing him for us allowing us to also show the Mare & Foal at the same show.

Just heard today that the visiting mare (Russetwood Gossamer) that was covered by Fflint has been scanned in foal.

We have only covered one mare ourselves this year which is Polaris Tamarisk.

Our third and final foal of 2010 has been born. Briolen Su has give us a stunning colt foal. Chestnut Roan with white legs. He is by Nantdywyll Fflint.

Foal No 2

Our second foal of 2010 was born today. Polaris Tamarisk foaled about 8am and gave us a lovely little filly foal. She is our first foal by our own stallion Nantdywyll Fflint. She is Chestnut (to go grey) with 3 white legs.
